Standard search engine placement services can take several weeks to a few months to start building traffic for a new product/service, even if the site already has good rankings for other pages. However, paid search marketing (PPC) may, when implemented correctly, can bring in instant traffic and sales.
Here are a few programs we use to help clients launch new products/services:
- Keyword research for new program to determine high traffic low competition keywords.
- Write a press release about the new product/service. We syndicate the press release with hundreds of online news wires and sites. This can significantly help overall SEO, bring targeted click through traffic, and yield potential PR opportunities.
- Create 5-10 articles around product and services and syndicate with niche article sites and publishers. Each article uses keywords with anchor text linking back to your site. This creates click through traffic from readers who find the articles and also increases over SEO through building relevant back links.
- Hire popular bloggers within your industry to review your new program, creating back links and potential click through traffic.
- Set up pay per click program using keyword research for new program. This creates instant results as you can essentially buy top positions within the search engines for your keywords.
Try out a few of these methods and you will definitely realize more traffic and potentially more sales. I think you’ll find, as all our clients have, that the internet can really bring your business more sales for less cost then traditional marketing and advertising methods.
